It has happened to every university student.. turning up to a lecture completely hungover from last night! It is even worse if it’s a nine am one. As students we have been struggling to find ways to trick ourselves into thinking we are gonna make it… but that is not always the case. We all know some basic tricks to prevent this situation from happening, such as drinking a spoon of olive oil before going out the previous night, but there is not much said about how to deal with it the next morning. This is what we are here to discuss and bring some options to the table, especially for the important classes that cannot be missed! One of my personal favourite ways to survive a hangover quickly is chugging a bottle of orange juice with a painkiller. That will help with dehydration and headache. Another popular solution is eating something very sweet as alcohol reduces blood sugar in your system. For our coffee lovers the best way to go is obvious.. coffee! It will do the trick very quickly and efficiently. The most important thing when it comes to hangovers though, is managing to wake up on time to prepare yourself for what’s about to happen that day. Therefore it is crucial to set at least 20 alarms and make sure your flatmates do that as well. Also, keep in mind NOT to drink too much before an important day at university as it is gonna make it very difficult for you to get through the day.

And there you go.. how to survive a hangover at a lecture. And don’t forget to take a nap later.
